Bribing a child to be good … or worse yet, giving the child presents after they were bad.

If the parents cannot afford to give the child presents (from the fat white guy), they feel guilty. Now the community (toy for tots) provide the gifts. The parent failed and the child is on welfare. Nice start in life.

What about the child whose parents cannot afford the presents and no outside agency provides the gifts. I know a little girl who thought that Santa did not like her. Of worse yet, the child thinks that he/she failed to be good enough. What a horrible thing to do to a little child.

I am certain that you can add your own experiences.
